Ladakh, also called 'Little Tibet',  is one of the most remote and least populated regions of India. The varying landscape in Ladakh is stunning. There are snow capped mountain peaks of more than 6000 meters high, windswept plains, magnificent blue lakes and mighty rivers in canyons with steep cliffs or wide valleys. Because of little rainfall the mountains are bare, but around streams and areas with spring water grass lands appear and villages are surrounded by green fields and trees.  Ladakh is part of the fast developing India, but remote villages can be visited where time seems to have stood still. Ladakh has a lot to offer, besides the superb trekking possibilities and ancient cultural sights, we can  organize many activities as jeep safaris, cycling, rafting, horse riding or staying overnight in a Ladakhi Home stay. Together with our local partner, our aim is to help travellers explore Ladakh with respect for culture and environment.

Join us on this 15 day Pilgrimage on the Himalayan plateau. Be recharged by the warm Ladakhi culture and nature. Each day begins with a gentle Qigong or Yoga practice to awaken your body and nurture your spirit. Experience the unique Ladakhi culture on this Homestay Trek.  The Homestays are always run by women, while the men are out earning the family’s income. By staying in Homestays we encourage people to remain in their villages instead of seeking employment in the cities. Homestays are the most eco-friendly way to discover Ladakh.

Climate
The best time to visit Ladakh is during summer from June until half September. Peak season is end of June, July, August & beginning of September.

Visa
All foreign nationals need to apply for an Indian visa, which they can get at any Indian embassy/ consulate around the world.
Some nationalities can apply for an Indian visa online.
